Why, thank you, Sam, for such a sweet and wonderful introduction.
Today started with a lazy breakfast and lots of time to catch up with Doug. We headed out of Vegas around 1, after a stop at the Bass Pro Shops at the Silverton.

I had to tolerate looking at outdoors stuff since Sam put up with going into almost every store in the Fashion Show Mall the day before. The drive went well, especially since I didn't have to drive. We were lucky to have such a bright, sunny day to drive on and we made it to Kevin's house in LA in just 4 1/2 hours, including the time spent in rush hour traffic. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with Kevin, his roommate, Calvin, and his girlfriend, Tencia.
